Driving Through Idaho

After we eat some really bad tasting hot dogs at The Backyard, we spent the night at a Best Western hotel (Cottontree Inn). This should have been at least a three-star hotel compared to the one in Cody, I have no idea how both of them ended up as two-star hotels. They also had a pretty good breakfast.

Instead of a boring drive along highway 84, we took the Payette River Scenic Byway. It took longer, but it was worth it, the nature was completely amazing. We couldn't see much of Washington because it was already dark when we entered the "evergreen state". Our road trip ended at the PNNL Guest House, which would become our house for the next week.
